Childcare selection for early childhood educators
The Care: Childcare selection was limited to early childhood educators, classified under NOC 42202. To receive a targeted invitation to apply, early childhood educators must hold a one-year or five-year ECE certificate issued by the ECE Registry.
Health selection covered priority occupations
The Care: Health selection covered all priority health care occupations. The official priority list includes health care management, clinical and laboratory medicine, nursing, pharmacy, therapy, diagnostic, laboratory and social work occupations. Individuals with a job offer classified under NOC 33102, nurse aides, orderlies and patient service associates, must be registered with the BC Care Aide & Community Health Worker Registry to receive a targeted invitation to apply.
Veterinary care selection
The Care: Veterinary Care selection covered priority veterinary care occupations: veterinarians (NOC 31103) and animal health technologists and veterinary technicians (NOC 32104).
Construction trades selection
The Build: Construction Trades selection covered all priority construction occupations, including welders, electricians, plumbers, pipefitters, carpenters, construction millwrights, heavy-duty equipment mechanics, and heating, refrigeration and air conditioning mechanics. To receive a targeted invitation to apply, construction-trades workers must have a valid trade certificate issued by, or a trades apprenticeship registered with, SkilledTradesBC that corresponds with the job offered.
