Care: Childcare

The childcare selection was limited to early childhood educators, classified as NOC 42202. To receive a targeted invitation to apply, early childhood educators must have a one-year or five-year ECE certificate issued by the ECE Registry.

Care: Health

The health selection covered priority health care occupations, including managers in health care; clinical and laboratory medicine specialists; physicians; dentists; pharmacists; nurses; licensed practical nurses; paramedical occupations; medical laboratory and medical radiation technologists; medical sonographers; nurse aides, orderlies and patient service associates; and social workers. The listed NOC codes are 30010, 31100, 31101, 31102, 31110, 31112, 31120, 31121, 31200, 31201, 31202, 31203, 31204, 31209, 31300, 31301, 31302, 31303, 32101, 32102, 32103, 32111, 32112, 32120, 32121, 32122, 32123, 32200, 33101, 33102 and 41300. Individuals with a job offer classified under NOC 33102 must be registered with the BC Care Aide & Community Health Worker Registry to receive a targeted invitation to apply.

Care: Education

The education selection covered French-speaking secondary school teachers, NOC 41220, and elementary or kindergarten teachers, NOC 41221. To receive a targeted invitation to apply, these teachers must be employed in B.C.'s public K-12 system and have a CLB 5 or higher in French.

Care: Veterinary Care

The veterinary care selection included veterinarians, NOC 31103, and animal health technologists and veterinary technicians, NOC 32104.

Build: Construction Trades

The construction trades selection included welders and related machine operators; electricians; industrial electricians; plumbers; steamfitters, pipefitters and sprinkler system installers; carpenters; construction millwrights and industrial mechanics; heavy-duty equipment mechanics; and heating, refrigeration and air conditioning mechanics. The listed NOC codes are 72106, 72200, 72201, 72300, 72301, 72310, 72400, 72401, 72402. Workers in construction trades must have a valid trade certificate issued by, or a trades apprenticeship registered with, SkilledTradesBC that corresponds with the job they have been offered to receive a targeted invitation to apply.
