Who was selected in Manitoba's latest EOI draw
The Manitoba Provincial Nominee Program held Expression of Interest round 278 on August 27, 2026. Of the 741 Letters of Advice to Apply issued, 150 were issued to candidates who declared a valid Express Entry profile number and job seeker validation code.
The draw included several targeted selections. Manitoba considered 62 profiles from candidates declaring current employment in Manitoba in unit groups 31102 and 73301. It also considered 21 profiles from candidates who declared French as their language of communication with the MPNP and held a valid French language test result.
- 600 invitations went to top-scoring profiles declaring current employment in Manitoba in major group 72, Technical trades and transportation officers and controllers. The minimum score was 731.
- 58 invitations went to profiles under the Skilled Worker in Manitoba or Skilled Worker Overseas pathways that declared a direct MPNP invitation through a strategic recruitment initiative.

Information for candidates who were not invited
The MPNP said Expressions of Interest from Skilled Worker Stream candidates were considered only where candidates had been directly invited through a strategic recruitment initiative or through the temporary public policy for prospective provincial nominee candidates.
Candidates who met the listed selection criteria but did not receive a Letter of Advice to Apply may need to check whether they entered a valid language test number in their EOI and whether their test remains valid. The MPNP also said candidates declaring an invitation under a strategic recruitment initiative must provide a valid invitation number.
Candidates who declared that they work in a regulated occupation and are fully licensed in Manitoba could be selected. However, the MPNP said it may not accept or may refuse an application where a candidate is not actually working in a regulated occupation or cannot provide evidence of completing the necessary licensing steps for employment in Manitoba.
